While interesting melodic lines are sometimes difficult to find in the texture and rhythmic dominated field of minimal and tech house, the purpose of this project was to use melodic phrases from classical music - for these two productions, 20th century Russian composer Aleksandr Scriabin was chosen for his stark, mystical and dissonant lines. These pieces were composed in 2018, but see the light of day in anticipation of performances in my new home, Chengdu, China.
